Darby Dunn, Program and Varsity Head Coach

Darby Dunn began teaching at Lassiter High School in the fall of 2021, and she was immediately welcomed into the Volleyball family. A native of Clinton, Mississippi, she attended and graduated from Clinton High School in 2016. In 2020, Dunn graduated with a degree in Social Studies Education from Mississippi College where she was a member of the Lady Choctaw Volleyball Team. Dunn played her first two season before transitioning into a student assistant coach after a career ending injury. After graduation, she served as the graduate assistant coach before moving to Georgia.

Coach Dunn teaches Special Education at Lassiter High School. She served as the Junior Varsity Head Coach during the 2021 season before accepting the Program and Varsity Head Coach position for the upcoming season. Dunn has experience in the club volleyball circuit where she coached at Infinity Volleyball Academy in Mississippi. She is currently coaching at A5 Volleyball.

Dunn lives in Smyrna, Georgia with her husband, Tripp, who you might see cheering loudly in the stands.
