Kylah Blount

Kylah is a Kennesaw State University alumna with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. Throughout her schooling, she coached travel volleyball at Cobb Atlanta and is now in her sixth season. Blount joined the  Roswell Hornets program in 2017 and in 2020 assisted in leading them to finish 3rd in State of GA, 39th in the Nation, and 2020 Region Champions.

She first fell in love with volleyball in eighth grade and later played for Kell High School’s varsity program. Blount played as an outside hitter for three years, but after recovering from a foot injury she transitioned to a defensive specialist. During the off season she played club for VolleyOne in addition to training at other surrounding clubs. Blount started coaching in 2015 and has loved continuously sharing her knowledge with eager minded young athletes.

With a competitive nature and persistent drive to push athletes through their greatest breakthroughs, Blount continues to break barriers in the game of volleyball.

I believe it is essential to create an open and productive environment for players to grow on and off the court. I enjoy guiding young athletes and aim to improve each player’s skill set, not limiting themselves to one position, but encouraging versatility. My goal is to develop players to their greatest potential while having fun!
